Fading Afternoon - an 8-bit 2D retro art style side-scrolling beat 'em up adventure RPG.

Developer YEO (@shin_yeo) has announced on his X account that the game Fading Afternoon will launch on the Nintendo Switch eShop on June 6th, 2024. The digital version in the Australian eShop will cost you $30.00.
The game was initially scheduled for release on the Switch in September 2022 but was subsequently delayed. It was then released on Steam on September 15th, 2023.
Fading Afternoon is an indie game from the creator who developed The Friends of Ringo Ishikawa (2018), where you play a Japanese high school gang leader. Then the follow-up, Arrest of a Stone Buddha (2020), casts you as an assassin in 1970s France.
In Fading Afternoon, you step into the shoes of Seiji Maruyama, a middle-aged yakuza who has just been released from a long stint in prison. The game kicks off as Seiji is picked up by a former associate, his old boss, Azuma, who extends an offer to rejoin the gang.
The Game Features:
Multiple endings.
Complex beat ’em up action.
Mini-games.
City exploration.
