Mod Kit – RGB SCART (No H-Pos)

This RGB SCART mod kit is designed specifically for Sony PVM-9L1, 14L1, and 20L1 monitors, and also works on most consumer CRT TVs manufactured before the year 2000, just like the other RGB mod kits in our store.

It enables true RGBS input via SCART, supporting home consoles, arcade boards, and other low-resolution 15kHz sources. Once installed, powering on your console will automatically switch the display into RGB mode, and powering it off will return the monitor to its original input — no manual switching required.

This version does not include horizontal (H-POS) adjustment, making it ideal for users whose CRT geometry is already well-centered or who prefer a simpler installation.

Compatibility

• Not suitable for CRTs made after 2000 with integrated “super ICs”

• JVC, Panasonic, and some other brands may require chip replacement or special handling

Please confirm your CRT supports RGB input at the decoder/jungle chip level before ordering. This kit is not compatible with “super chip” CRTs — those require a different tailboard-style RGB mod kit.

• Picture adjustments (H-Pos, geometry) may require using your TV’s built-in service menu.
