This version uses RCA (lotus) connectors for RGBS input and includes onboard controls for fine-tuning image position and colour levels.

❌ Not compatible with:

• CRTs using late-era “super IC” designs without RGB input pins

• 31kHz / 480p VGA sources

• Flat-panel or digital displays

🔧 Installation Notes (IMPORTANT)

• Installation requires soldering to the TV mainboard

• Uses a 9-line RGB ribbon cable (18-pin IDC: signal + ground pairs)

• Intermediate to advanced skill level recommended

⚠️ RGB Capacitor Compatibility Note

Some CRT chassis already include RGB coupling capacitors on the mainboard.
This kit also includes its own signal conditioning components.

On certain TVs:

• Using both capacitor paths together can cause ghosting or smearing

• In these cases, a solder jumper on the kit must be bridged to bypass the onboard capacitors and rely on the TV’s original circuitry

This is TV-dependent and not required for all models.
