Mod Kit – RGB SCART with Horizontal (H-Pos) Adjustment

This SCART RGB mod kit is designed for CRT TVs and PVMs that support native RGB input, providing a clean and flexible RGBS SCART (EU) input with horizontal position (H-POS) adjustment built directly into the board.

It is a pure 15kHz RGB solution — not an upscaler — ideal for retro consoles outputting native RGB.

📺 Compatibility Notes (IMPORTANT)

• Designed for CRT TVs / monitors with RGB-capable jungle ICs

• Works with:

  • Sony PVM / BVM

• Not compatible with:

  • TVs without RGB-capable decoder chips

  • Digital / flat-panel displays

Some chassis (such as Sony BG-1S) may already contain:

• Existing RGB termination resistors

• Coupling capacitors on RGB lines

In these cases, a solder jumper on the kit may need to be bridged to disable the kit’s capacitors and avoid signal smearing or ghosting.
